T’ai Chi and Qi Gong are subtle, gentle systems of exercise developed by Taoist monks over 1000 years ago in China. T’ai Chi and Qigong are regarded by hundreds of millions as a way to increase and maintain consciousness and youthful vitality. The continuous, graceful movements of T’ai Chi utilize a relaxed body and deep, synchronous, conscious breathing to develop the body’s vital energy ( Chi, Qi, Ki ), coordination, and flexibility while becoming a vehicle for nourishing one’s mental, physical, and spiritual health.
Ideally adapted for modern existence, T’ai Chi and Qigong teach us how to be centered, grounded, and self empowered while in motion in today’s world. We will introduce the student to the practice of the Yang Style long form of T’ai Chi Chuan and / or the “Eight Treasures” style of Qigong and Tantric energy movement.
Private instruction and classes for your spiritual group or company are available in the Rockville, Maryland and Baltimore - Washington, DC area.
Instructor: Sifu Keith Hall has studied and taught T’ai Chi, Tantra Yoga, Meditation, Stress Management, Kundalini and Chakra Yoga, and Taoist exercise for over 30 years.
He is a senior student of Prof. Yung-ko Chou with permission to teach.
